Fun Events in Ottawa for Halloween

With Halloween fast approaching, it’s time to figure out how to have the most fun on this spooky holiday. If you have little ones or even tweens, we’re sure you’re wondering what kind of activities are available for you and your familyWe’ve collected information for your family about all the interesting and spooky happenings happening this week for Halloween! 

For Kids: 

  • Pumpkin Fest:  
    • Proulx Maple & Berry Farm are transforming their farm into their annual Halloween themed playground during the day. Kids will enjoy mazes, wagon rides and more at this fun event! 
  • Halloween Hijinks: 
  • Sparty’s Safe and Not So Scary Halloween Party: 
    • The Ottawa Senators Hockey Club is hosting safe Trick or Treating at their home arena, the Canadian Tire Centre. Tickets for this event are free but should be grabbed quickly! 

For Teens & Adults: 

  • Haunted Walks of Ottawa: 
    • The Haunted Walk is hosting on-location and at home spooky fun for the family. Join cloaked guide around the city and recount the chilling past of Ottawa or stay at home and conduct paranormal experiments with an online, interactive audio experience. You could have a chance to communicate with the “other side”. 
  • Haunting Season, Fright Fest & Campfires: 
    • Join for the 29th season at Saunders Farm for daytime and nighttime fun! Daytime attractions are geared towards children with hayrides, mazes, puppet shows, play structures, jumbo pillows and a spooky outdoor trail! 
    • However, when the sun sets, the Fright Fest comes out! Join them for a haunted hayride, street theatre, fresh food and beverages, and two hour campfire sessions! 
  • Pumpkinferno: 
    • Stroll through over 7,000 hand-carved pumpkins outside in the hauntingly beautiful nighttime backdrop outside of the gates of historic Upper Canada Village.  
  • Deadwood Haunted Drive 
    • Take your favorite Honda out for a spin through Deadwood, the first and only Ottawa haunted drive experience at Wesley Clover Parks. Once you’re parked, live actors and special effects will immerse you into the haunting tale!
