Honda sees sales rise 21% in February

Honda saw its sales increase considerably in February compared to the same period last year.

While the Honda HR-V and the Honda CR-V are partly responsible for this growth, the fact remains that the entire Honda range did very well last month. Indeed, Honda registered 10,409 units in February 2017, 22% more than for the same period last year.

The Honda CR-V saw its sales increase by about 400 units to finish at 3,240 units sold. As for the Honda HR-V, the small sub-compact SUV set a new sales record for a month of February with 982 sales, 101% (!) more than in February 2016.

“Coming off of a modest start to 2017, the Honda brand gained traction in February with remarkable monthly sales,” said Dave Gardner, Senior Vice President of Operations, Honda Canada Inc. “Record-breaking HR-V and CR-V sales drove the February sales spike, accompanied by strong consumer support for the Civic hatchback, the newest member of the versatile Civic family.”
